Hi, my name is Adam Geraghty. I'm an Android Developer with experience in Web and Back End Development.
I have developed and maintained several Android apps which are available on the app store. My most recent app, named App of Holding, has been very successful and received great reviews from its core audience. As of writing it has over 15,000 downloads on the Google Play Store.
My skills include Kotlin, Flutter Multi-Platform, HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, and I've dabbled in Python, PHP, Node.js. In 2018 I gained the PSM-I Scrum Master certification. I am proficient in Atlassian tools such as Jira. I have an interest in various aspects of Design including Typography and Usability. I have experience working in Adobe Creative Suites such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.
This application allows a player of tabletop RPGs to easily manage their characters inventory without the use of pen and paper. The app allows a player to add an item to their inventory, store gold values, automatically calculate encumbrance and sell items. I begun development in early April 2017 and soon released the first version to the Google play store. So far it has received great feedback from the community, and at the time of writing has over 12,500 downloads. I plan to continue development and add many of the features suggested by fans.
WatchMyWorkout is an Android phone application with an Android Wear smartwatch companion app. The smartwatch app is used to track a user's activity, such as running or weight lifting. The data is saved on the smartwatch until it is connected to the phone app. The main focus of the phone app is to show the user his or her progress over a period of time, thus motivating them to continue exercising. The phone app also allows a user to set an exercise schedule. By completing this project I gained more knowledge about Android development and Android Wear interfaces and the sensors available to the watch.
